Makers2Makers is a platform that connects sellers of custom products with a network of makers who fulfill those orders. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must have the right to connect any store (Etsy, Shopify, or otherwise) you link to your account — only connect shops you own or are authorized to manage.

Depending on your account setup, a maker’s payout for fulfilling an order is either processed through Stripe (held and then released to the maker, less an agreed platform fee), or tracked in the app and settled directly between you and the maker. Platform fees Makers2Makers itself charges you are billed through Stripe. None of this touches the original sale between you and your customer — that transaction is completed entirely on the connected platform (Etsy, Shopify, or otherwise) through its own checkout; Makers2Makers is never a party to it and never processes your customer’s payment. Shipping labels are billed to whichever shipping provider account is connected on the order, at the time it’s purchased.

When you connect a third-party store (like Etsy or Shopify), you authorize Makers2Makers to access your order data through that platform’s official API, solely to sync orders and fulfillment status — we do not submit shipment or tracking updates back to any connected platform through its API; that stays a manual step you complete on the platform itself. You can disconnect a store at any time from Settings. If you work with a maker through Makers2Makers to fulfill items you sell elsewhere, you’re responsible for complying with that platform’s own rules about disclosing makers or third-party fulfillment.

Makers2Makers has no monthly plan. The only charge is the per-order platform fee described in the app, which is added to the order when a maker is paid and is non-refundable except where required by law or when an order is cancelled or refunded in full. Funds you add to your wallet can be withdrawn while they are unspent.

Referral credit earned through the referral program (currently paused) has no cash value, can’t be transferred, and can’t be applied to what you owe a maker or for shipping costs.

Don’t use Makers2Makers to circumvent a connected platform’s own rules (like contacting a maker to fulfill orders outside the platform, in violation of our network rules), to submit fraudulent orders, or to misuse another user’s data. Don’t arrange payment for a Makers2Makers order with a maker or seller outside the platform in order to avoid the platform fee — the fee is how we operate the marketplace, vet participants, and stand behind every order, and taking payment off-platform removes those protections for both sides. Accounts found doing this may be suspended.

We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use of Makers2Makers after an update means you accept the revised terms.
